Hello
For many years now I have brought a caring and individual approach to all kinds of services and for a long time prior to this I conducted them for friends and family as and when required.
I have a background of several years experience as a Samaritan Counsellor and I am a fully qualified Spiritual Counsellor. I also hold Higher Diplomas in Psychotherapy and Holistic Hypnosis and have trained in Public Speaking which assists me with invaluable experience in my work. Becoming an Interfaith Minister has deeply enriched my life ~ enhancing my journey which has taken the scenic route to where I find myself now.
I feel I have come home ~ in my heart ~ and I am exactly where I need to be right now. Along the way I have gained a greater respect for all people from all walks of life and from all faiths or none.
I have arranged and enjoyed many naming services joining in with the delight of the babies parents, family and friends. The first ceremony being for my eldest grandson Taliesin who is now 15 years old.
The Wedding Vows ceremonies and Wedding Blessings have to date included not only couples that I have met and made friends with ~ but also my son and his wife.
Funeral services are conducted with respect and dignity and where appropriate including tributes and eulogies ~ revisiting memories that bring joy and comfort to what maybe a very difficult time for family and friends.
I live in Lancashire and will conduct Funeral Services in Lancashire and Greater Manchester and will consider any area within Great Britain for any other services ~ ceremonies.
I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants and details of this membership can be found on their website www.aoic.org.uk
I am also an ordained One Spirit Interfaith Minister creating ceremonies of your choice - with or without a religious content - but always with respect, dignity and love. www.interfaithfoundation.org
The Tree of Life symbol on my stole represents my 35 years being a student of Qabbalah and the last 15 years sharing my experiences in Workshops and Seminars. It is an all encompassing symbol that reflects my connection with the universe and the wonderful path of self discovery that has enlightened me ~ and will continue to inspire me throughout my life.
The Universal symbol on my stole is representative of some of the major religions and beliefs of the world. It by no means includes all - but it is a truly magnificent symbol that incorporates some of the beliefs and traditions that help us connect at a deep heart level. I especially like the circle that encompasses the symbols ~ for it is the circle that embraces all.
The symbol of The Name of God on my stole is that of the Hebrew 'Tetragrammaton' the four letter word that represents all the names of God through these four letters ~ Yod ~ Heh ~ Vau ~ Heh. One aspect of it's meaning is that of it's connection to our daily living, the 4 Elements, the 4 Directions, the 4 levels of Being.
The symbol with raised arms is that of the Goddess. For those who have an affinity with the Goddess she represents the feminine aspect within us all. Having her arms raised is symbolic of reaching up and out to the universe. When we raise our arms it is a natural reaction to raise our heads ~ and with a little imagination we can find ourselves embracing the loving energies of the Divine Feminine.
The final symbol on my stole is that of the Celtic Cross entwined with Ivy. I like the look of this cross as it is intercepted with a circle ~ the Circle of Life. Ivy in it's symbolic form is representative of longevity and within the Tree of Life correspondences it is associated with the sphere of Binah ~ that of Understanding and the energies of the planet Saturn ~ also connected with time.
